Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders or oral instructions to determine required materials.
• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or worksite to designated areas, using hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, carts, or other devices, as instructed.
• Keep records of materials moved or handled, using scanners or BaaN sessions to transfer materials between locations or to assembly.
• Count, weigh, and record the number of units moved or handled.
• Attach identifying tags or labels, or mark cases, bales, or containers.
• Responsible for the care of forklifts and equipment (laptops) provided.
