Job summary

Walker SCM, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate in Enfield, NC to perform receiving, shipping, inventory control, repacking and related duties. You will operate a reach truck and assist with daily warehousing activities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Candidates must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and wear PPE; English literacy is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse operations.
• REACH TRUCK (stand-up hilo) experience REQUIRED.
• High School Diploma, or GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced sequencing environment.
• Skilled in multitasking, organizing and prioritizing work.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect shipments/product for potential damage.
• Safely operate forklift equipment.
• Count and audit inventory to ensure accurate material stock levels.
• Report any operating supply shortages to Facility Manager/Supervisor.
• Verify equipment/work tools are performing in optimal conditions.
• Ensure safety is never compromised.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Assist in other duties assigned.

Summary

Perform all activities relating to warehouse receiving, shipping, inventory control, repacking, housekeeping and all tasks assigned by supervisory personnel pertaining to daily warehousing activities. Responsible for operating and managing PIV for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting materials.
