Job Title: Material Handler II

Location: Chester, VA

What We Are Looking For

We seek a Material Handler II responsible for safely loading and unloading materials, ensuring smooth material flow to meet company needs. This role is available on 1st and 2nd shifts in our Shipping Department at the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Manage consignment inventory, location-to-location moves, and inventory adjustments.
• Operate handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and conveyors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report issues to relevant personnel.
• Collaborate during investigations of quality, inventory, and shipping issues.
• Transfer, transport, and stage materials accurately and timely; maintain documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED
• Preferred prior manufacturing experience
• Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), push, pull, squat, or kneel as needed
• Work environment includes temperature variations, chemicals, mechanical parts, noise, and dust
