Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and aerospace/defense industry, is seeking a Material Handler II to join their team. As a Material Handler II, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting production, inventory management, and shipping functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Pay Range: $18+ DOE
Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Perform material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving activities to support production and business operations
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, discrepancy analysis, and corrective actions
- Coordinate material movement across departments including production, inspection, and shipping
- Ensure accurate system transactions for inventory movements (receipts, issues, transfers, and shipments)
- Oversee packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation to meet customer and carrier requirements
- Review and validate work orders, blue cards, and system data to ensure alignment and traceability
- Operate and troubleshoot warehouse equipment (e.g. scales, bagging machines, barcode systems)
- Generate reports and provide data to support inventory audits, KPIs, and management reviews
What's Needed?
- 2-3 years of stockroom, warehouse, or material handling experience
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and warehouse transactions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and system use
- Prior experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace/ Defense environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
