Job description

Distribution Support Position

Under direct supervision, the primary responsibility of the Distribution Support Position is to provide excellent customer service to all stores and customers with timely and accurate processing of orders, breakouts, returns, and vendor shipments according to established guidelines. Must be forklift certified.

  1. Assist with accurate and timely receiving and put-away of received products.
  2. Manage storage locations for optimal cube utilization, ease of picking, and inventory accuracy.
  3. Prioritize and collate orders for shipment based on daily demand.
  4. Pick products to fulfill orders efficiently and accurately.
  5. Conduct quality control on orders.
  6. Pack orders for all shipping methods, including hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
  7. Have working knowledge of USP, FedEx, and LTL shipping modules.
  8. Assist with cycle counts, inventory control, and scheduled inventories.
  9. Ensure proper paperwork completion, such as bills of lading and packing lists.
  10. Possess a valid driver’s license to qualify as a backup delivery driver.
  11. Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, with training if necessary.
  12. Knowledge of AS400 systems is a plus.
  13. Follow company procedures regarding uniforms, cleanliness, and customer service daily.
  14. Maintain daily timecards.
  15. Assist San Lorenzo Stores as needed.
  16. Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly distribution area in compliance with OSHA and fire safety protocols.
  17. Assist in preparing and executing annual inventory.
  18. Perform other assigned tasks.
  19. Work environment includes temperature variations, chemicals, mechanical parts, noise, and dust. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally. Tasks may involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling.
Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED. Forklift certification required.
