Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is hiring for a weekend days forklift/warehouse associate. The role requires operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, following work orders, and maintaining safety and accuracy in handling goods.

Starting pay is $19.50/hour with an additional $3.00 shift differential. The position emphasizes on-site work, adherence to Crane SOPs, and timely completion of paperwork and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Less than one-year related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials safely using forklift and warehouse equipment.
  • Read and follow work orders to move materials.
  • Operate reach truck, rider jack, or similar equipment per training.
  • Maintain safe work environment and complete paperwork promptly.
  • Scan freight via RF equipment and attach labels.

Job description

This is a weekend days position with shift hours 5am - 5:30pm Friday - Sunday. Starting pay rate is $19.50/hour plus $3.00 shift differential.

Essential Job Functions
  • Fills client orderssafely, efficiently, andwithin Crane SOPs.
  • Responsible for ensuring that distribution activities are conducted in accordance
  • withinternal qualitystandardswhilemaintaininga safe work environment.
  • Readsand followswork orders, andfollows instructions toascertainmaterials orcontainerloadsto be moved
  • Operates a forklift or other drivable warehouse equipment including but not limited toreach truck, rider jackor similar.
  • Only authorized for using pallet jack, rider jack, standup, sit down after successful training.
  • Not authorized to useOrder/Cherry Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Forklift over 5K.No heavy lifts
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand forklift, or other warehouse equipment.
  • Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping,bracingor padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
  • Attachesidentifyingtags or labels to materials
  • Scansfreight via warehouse management system with RF equipment
  • Completesrequiredpaperwork thoroughly and promptly.
  • Performs housekeeping tasks tomaintaina safe work environment.
  • Accurately and courteously load client merchandise
  • Jobrequirespresence on-site at the assigned work location
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Less thanone-yearrelated experience
Certification & Licenses
  • Forklift certification must be obtained within90 daysof hire.
  • Professional certification may berequiredin some areas.
Physical Requirements
  • Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen.
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
  • Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location.
  • Job requires attendance and dependability.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company in an ongoing capacity without company sponsorship
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position
