Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in McDonough, GA is hiring a Material Handler I to ensure quality receiving, shipping and warehouse coordination. You will provide logistics service across facility departments and brand services.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 70 pounds. You will work with the warehouse management system and RF guns to verify inventory and complete weekly cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Supports loading and unloading; packs and wraps merchandise as required.
• Assembles and labels pick racks, shelving, lockers and cabinets to organize product.
• Sorts materials (e.g., lenses and laps) for efficient store order picking.
• Ensures outgoing and incoming orders are complete and correct before shipping/receiving.
• Uses RF gun to check in and ship all inventory.
• Performs weekly inventory cycle counts.
• Keeps warehouse inventory updated in the warehouse management system.
• Performs other tasks necessary for shipping and receiving supplies.
