Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Materials Handler II for Shipping on the 3rd shift in McDonough, GA. You will manage workflow, resolve issues, and ensure accuracy in shipping operations for wearables—frames and lenses. You will analyze logs, address discrepancies, and coach teammates to meet demanding lead times.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint. Overtime is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written).
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by leadership.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Collect work/orders to the floor based on priorities.
• Analyzes error logs, resolves issues and reports unresolved issues.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues to ensure on-time shipping and delivery.
• Investigates inventory discrepancies for root cause.
• Helps coach and train associates to solve exceptions when possible.
• Works closely with leadership to expedite high priority orders and ensure accuracy.
• Analyzes WIP report to ensure orders are released timely and follow up with operations to ship on time.
• Acts as the subject matter expert for the WIP report.
• Works with IT and support team to expedite high priority orders and ensure accuracy.
• Creates urgency to meet forecasted requirements.
