Job summary

Dal-Tile is hiring a Material Handler I - Unloader for the 3rd shift in Sunnyvale, TX. You will operate forklifts to load/unload, pick and pack orders, and ensure accurate receiving and putaway in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires 1+ year warehouse experience, forklift certification, and strong safety and English communication skills. Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year distribution/warehouse experience.
• Min 6 months to 1 year sit-down forklift, reach truck and order picker experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to pick and assemble customer orders from stock and palletize.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS) and verify stock.
• Receive product, inspect crates, apply labels, and stock in correct locations.
• Putaway product into designated warehouse areas and update inventory.
• Wrap and pack products, label boxes, and prepare for shipping.
• Monitor equipment and follow safety procedures; maintain clean, safe area.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Shift:

• 3rd: M-F, 6:00pm-2:30am

Equipment Knowledge:

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities:

Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
• Opens crates and inspects product
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

• Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
• Labels boxes with packing slip
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt
• Verifies orders for accuracy

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
