Job summary

Custom Pipe and Fabrication in Conroe, TX is seeking an entry-level Material Handler I to assist with safe, efficient handling of materials for production. You will receipt, store, and deliver materials to designated locations and support daily shop operations by moving and organizing inventory.

No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The role includes lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to safety standards, with outdoor work in varying weather

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of a diploma or GED.
• No prior experience is required, though experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Must be able to read and interpret written instructions such as production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them within the facility.
• Organize and stack materials in assigned locations.
• Maintain clear labeling and organization of materials.
• Report materials moved to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Adhere to company safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
• Deliver necessary materials to various workstations.
• Ensure materials are labeled and stored properly to avoid safety risks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
