Job summary

The Panther Group in West Boylston, MA is seeking a Material Handler I for our Product Development team. You will perform kitting, put-away and warehouse tasks to ensure accurate and timely material handling under Epicor workflows and leadership guidance.

Responsibilities include inventory handling, material distribution, and supporting data updates in Epicor and Omnify. You will operate pallet jacks, maintain safe conditions, and communicate KPIs to leadership as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a role responsible for issuing and handling material.
• Good math skills and intermediate computer knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience with Epicor or other WMS/ERP preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Previous forklift experience or ability to pass forklift training and exam.
• Previous experience installing and removing pallet racking preferred.

• Executes distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Participates in material movement with various equipment, including PLTs.
• Participates in initiatives to update and improve material data stored in Epicor and Omnify.
• Maintains clean and safe conditions in the work area.
• Collects and reports department KPIs to Leadership as directed.
• Executes layout changes to warehouse racking under Leadership direction.
• Other duties as assigned.

In this role, you will help ensure accurate and timely completion of all kitting or put-away activities. Ensures safe storage and or retrieval of all material stored in the warehouse. Performs activities at the direction of Epicor material Queues Visual Management, and Leadership.

• Collects, and reports departments KPIs to Leadership as directed.
• Executes layout changes to warehouse racking at the direction of Leadership.

Working Environment

100% of the work is performed in warehouse area.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand for an extended amount of time, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to read small font in various lighting conditions. Must be able to operate pallet jacks

Pay Rate Range

$18.00 to $20.50 per hour depending on experience
