Job summary

HealthTrust Performance Group, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a detail-oriented Material Handler I to manage inventory and fulfill orders with high accuracy. You will stock, verify, and route products, while using computer systems and promoting teamwork to support patient care.

The role emphasizes knowledge of warehouse processes, safety, and the ability to handle 50 lb loads. The environment is warehouse-based with long hours and physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience with lot controlled and expiration dated products handling.
• Ability to count accurately and follow written instructions.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex instructions simultaneously.
• Ability to reach and lift supplies and boxes of reasonable weight.
• Ability to safely lift and carry a 50 lb load per post-offer testing.
• Ability to work long hours in a warehouse and load freight.
• Familiarity with computers and keyboard proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock/replenish and select product and route orders to trailers.
• Verify quantities and ensure label accuracy on all products.
• Operate computer systems to complete daily tasks.
• Promote teamwork in all duties.
• Maintain alignment with department, DC, and health system goals.
• Maintain knowledge of products, procedures, and health system operations.
• Communicate unresolved issues or maintenance needs timely.
• Identify priorities and optimize use of work hours.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE when appropriate.
