We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Material Handlers to join our production team. You will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking/restocking of material, and performing cycle counts. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle materials, ensuring delivery to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant
  • With instruction, complete warehouse management system transactions
  • Complete specified functions of 5S responsibilities: sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety
  • Sort products into location and in the warehouse management system
  • Support inventory control by conducting scheduled cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks
  • Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehousing, and production, to streamline workflows and optimize stock levels
  • Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Work as part of a team

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehousing experience preferred
    • For Material Handler II: 2+ years of experience
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily.
  • Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in inventory management or ERP systems (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, or ERP-specific training).
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other process improvement frameworks.
  • Knowledge of inventory best practices, including FIFO, cycle counting,
  • Knowledge of ITAR, FAR, DFARS, and other government contract requirements related to inventory management and warehouse operations.

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
  • Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
  • May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
  • Must be available to work overtime, as needed

Pay range for this role

$21.63 - $26.44 USD
