Job summary

AAF International in Washington, NC is seeking a Material Handler I to support warehouse operations. You will receive materials, verify tagging, and stage parts for production orders under guidance from the Inventory clerk or group leader.

Responsibilities include delivering parts to production, picking and delivering bulk items, performing forklift-related safety tasks, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. Candidates should communicate well and read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.

Qualifications

• Communication skills in spoken and written form.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify tagging and transfer to correct location.
• Stage parts for production orders as directed by Inventory clerk or group leader.
• Deliver parts to production after staging.
• Pick and deliver bulk issue items to production (e.g., paper media, glue frames).
• Perform weekly cycle counts as required.
• Operate forklift safely and complete daily checklist.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
