Job summary

Maker's Pride, LLC in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Material Handler to store, move, and handle products in a GMP environment. You will operate forklifts, maintain inventory, and load/unload orders while following safety policies.

Strong math skills and the ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days are required. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to GMP standards, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting with potential overtime across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must understand GMPs or be willing to learn GMPs.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days.
• Ability to operate stand-up and extended forklifts.
• Sufficient math skills.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures.
• English reading/writing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, transport, pack, remove and dispose of products and materials.
• Operate forklifts, handcarts, or pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, and load/unload orders.
• Maintain inventory levels as directed.
• Feed lines with product as scheduled by supervision or line leads.
• Ship and receive materials throughout shift.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Count, weigh, and record units or materials moved.
• Ensure product moved is identified and labeled correctly.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain 5S and keep areas clean.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
