Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Material Handler I to support shipping and receiving by unloading, moving, storing and picking materials; you will verify identifications and quantities and maintain FIFO and traceability in ERP.

The role requires forklift certification within 60 days of hire, and the ability to perform ERP transactions and cycle counts; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift certification within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store a variety of material, parts or products.
• Check identification and quantities; report shortages/overages; ensure FIFO
• Process inventory transactions in ERP system; maintain traceability
• Maintain a safe workplace by following safety policies and procedures
• Train, perform or backup in Receiving or Shipping or Cycle Count (one area)
• Operate paperwork and scales for the area within 30 days
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends
