This hourly, full-time role offers hands-on work, safety-focused duties, and opportunities to collaborate with warehouse teams, receive inventory, and ensure on-time delivery of heavy flatbed cargo.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with ability to operate company vehicles.
• Experience pulling flatbed trailers and hauling heavy loads.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient in English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently staging materials and managing yard logistics.
• Operate forklifts and drive company vehicles including a Dodge 3500.
• Secure and haul heavy flatbed cargo.
• Receive inventory, cross-check shipments, and support production floor.
• Maintain clean, safe workspaces and support production crews.

Got experience hauling heavy loads, pulling flatbeds, and keeping a yard running like clockwork? Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is looking for a reliable team player ready to jump behind the wheel of a Dodge 3500, manage yard staging, and support our production crew by holding the role of Material Handler I - Driver.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

This high-impact role keeps core operations moving by efficiently staging materials, managing yard logistics, and maintaining clean, safe workspaces. You will take charge of local transport and equipment—operating forklifts, driving company vehicles (including a Dodge 3500), and expertly securing and hauling heavy flatbed cargo. Beyond transport, you will partner closely with warehouse teams to receive inventory, cross-check shipments, and power the daily success of the production floor.

This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $17.50 - $22.50 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with ability to operate company vehicles (e.g., Dodge 3500).
• Demonstrated experience pulling flatbed trailers and hauling heavy loads.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Previous experience with forklift operations.
• Authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Proficient in the English Language.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in ERP system, specifically experience with SAP logistics transactions.
• Previous warehouse/parts management experience.
• Previous shipping, Fed-Ex, or UPS experience.
