Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I to receive, unpack, and examine goods, and verify shipments against invoices. This role will prepare inventory for multiple shops, stage parts, and document part numbers for tracking using SAP.

The position is full-time and hourly, paying $17.50–$22.50 per hour based on experience and certifications. Applications accepted until September 10th, 2026; review begins immediately and the role may be filled earlier.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• Reading and understanding welding/production drawings.
• Forklift operations experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient in the English language.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• SAP logistics transactions experience (desired).
• Warehouse/parts management experience (desired).
• Shipping, Fed-Ex, or UPS experience (desired).

Responsibilities

JOIN OUR TALENTED TEAM OF LOGISTICS PROFESSIONALS

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Material Handler I to receive, unpack, and examine goods received and verify completeness of shipments against invoices and other records. This role will prepare products for shipment, count and compare quantity and identification numbers of units against the order and utilize power tools and large machinery such as forklifts or cranes. Transfer orders, confirmations, and inventory management will all be generated & maintained in SAP consisted with standard operating procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The Material Handler is responsible for preparing inventory & staging parts for multiple shops. This role plays a critical part in ensuring these teams have a readily available inventory that is easily accessible for our daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts. As part of these responsibilities, this position will also review and mark the appropriate part numbers on inventory to properly document & track parts usage and need.

This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $17.50-$22.50 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in reading and understanding welding/production drawings.
• Previous experience with forklift operations.
• Authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Proficient in the English Language.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in ERP system, specifically experience with SAP logistics transactions.
• Previous warehouse/parts management experience.
• Previous shipping, Fed-Ex, or UPS experience.
