Job summary

You will work under the Retail Store Manager, lift up to 70 pounds, perform duties to maintain cleanliness and organization, and support customers and donors while upholding the organization's values.

Qualifications

• Minimal ability to read and write. Prior customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to present information to groups and the public with tact and courtesy.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations, transport, sort, and properly display merchandise.
• Carry up to 70 pounds and assist with tagging and pricing textiles, shoes, and furniture.
• Process donated goods, issue receipts, and direct donors to proper locations.
• Maintain cleanliness of donation area, store, and restrooms; support safety drills.
• Cooperate with coworkers to cover breaks and help with shelving, packing, and pricing.
• Prepare salvage items, wrap odd-sized or bulk furniture, and assist with transportation.
