MATERIAL HANDLER I DAYS - SMALL PACKAGE CENTER (SPC)

We are seeking an entry-level Material Handler for our Small Package Center. The ideal candidate will have basic warehouse experience and be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

Primary Objective

Prepare small packages for shipping and operate powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and transport them to the packing or shipping area.

Major Responsibilities

• Prepare small packages of tile for shipping and print shipping labels.
• Perform warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, inventory checks, restocking, labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving and replenishing materials, and conducting cycle counts.
• Handle receiving duties including unloading inbound materials, processing shipments, stocking, processing returns, and reporting damaged shipments.
• Operate forklift and order picker equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility.
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certified forklift operator.
• Preferred: 1-year warehouse experience.
• Good communication, record-keeping, and measurement skills.
• Ability to work safely and speak basic English.

Physical Requirements

Regularly stand, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May sit, climb, or balance. Lift/move up to 75 lbs. Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, temperature variations, and loud noise. Accommodations available for disabilities.
