Start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics! **Job Summary:**The **Material Handler**is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, counting, tracking, issuing, and shipping a variety of production parts, materials and supplies. The production floor relies on this position to provide the right parts and materials at the right time in order to meet on-time-delivery goals.**1st shift hours are 7am-3:30pm****Essential Functions:*** Maintain accurate inventory control by following established work instructions and processes.* Move materials to and from receiving, production areas and shipping by hand, using sorting bins and carts, or other equipment* Unpack, receive, and stock materials into storeroom location(s)* Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production cell work* Issue critical materials to production cells* Complete the cycle count process for Value Stream; Escalate variances in counts, as needed* Respond to unplanned issues with internal customers in a timely manner* Pack and ship materials in accordance with contract requirements* Aid and/or Backfill coworkers, as needed to complete daily tasks* Ensure compliance with export compliance rules* Any other task assigned by supervisor or management**Minimum Qualifications:*** Experience: 0-1 year of relevant electronics manufacturing experience* Knowledge: Warehousing and materials packing knowledge; Familiar with lean principles* Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated outstanding manual dexterity; Demonstrated ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks; Demonstrated ability to accurately follow detailed work instructions; Demonstrated ability to understand standard work instructions; Math skills to perform basic calculations; Outstanding verbal communication skills; Proficient with MS Office* Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent* **Eligibility Requirement:** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
