Material Handler

THE ROLE:

Entegris is currently seeking Material Handler to join our team. This is a contract position based in our Decatur, TX facility.

The Material Handler position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through a combination or selection of activities below including supporting manufacturing, transferring, and storing, utility, picking activities, packaging and palletizing goods, and other related duties as assigned.

HOURS FOR POSITION ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-4:45PM WITH ABILITY TO WORK OVERTIME AT THE FRONT END OF THE SHIFT.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• SAP transactions to include:
  • Creating deliveries
  • Post Goods Issue of deliveries
  • Creating and entering Cycle Count Records
  • Creating Purchase Requisitions
• Other transactions to include:
  • Processing shipments through the UPS and FedEx operating systems
  • Conducting and monitoring physical counts for Logistics supplies
  • Organizing and scheduling shipments with different Freight carriers
  • Train new employees in the Logistics Pick/Pack/Ship processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to consistently produce high-quality work.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE SEEK:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A year or more of experience in warehouse environment preferred.
• General PC skills required to include SAP, UPS, and FedEx operating systems.
• Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality.
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
• Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical.
• Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
• Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
