Job summary

Bobcat Company is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to unload, load, and move materials within the facility. You will operate a hoist-attached lifting device or manual pallet jack, and hand-load parts from racks to trays and carts.

You will follow defined routes and maintain safety standards while handling materials during production and shipping. The role requires the ability to work quickly under time pressure, communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers, and adhere to

Responsibilities

Job Information

Objective is to transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jack or using a lifting device attached to a hoist called out within the standard work.

Essential Functions

• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed.
• Loads parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts.
• Follows set route through department to load kit carts.
• Loads and unloads parts manually from paint line.
• Maintains safety checks on necessary equipment.
• Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Uses electronic scanner to transact material as needed.

Other Duties

• Keeps aisles clean and orderly.
• Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
• Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
• Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management.
