Summary: Material Handlers work with warehouses and production facilities to move products. They deliver materials, stage finished goods, and communicate across the facility to meet supply demands, ensuring all production needs are fully stocked for efficient order fulfillment.

Job Description: Location: Kansas City, MO. Responsible for moving products, delivering materials, staging finished goods, and maintaining communication to meet production demands. Ensures all production needs are met promptly.

Essential Duties:

  • Work with management to understand daily demand
  • Validate contents of kits and ensure proper procurement of parts
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams
  • Ensure timely delivery of kits to work areas
  • Manage material movement and storage
  • Verify production needs to minimize downtime
  • Deliver kits/parts to correct build stations
  • Work with warehouse staff to resolve shortages
  • Handle in-process changes and damages appropriately
  • Review and process orders accurately
  • Anticipate production needs at least three days in advance
  • Record and communicate inaccuracies
  • Work overtime as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in warehouse software and MS Office
  • Knowledge of warehousing and production fundamentals
  • Data analysis and input skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum 2 years forklift experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Warehouse and production expertise
  • Efficient warehousing techniques

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor and outdoor work in all weather
