Job description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Utilizes manual and motorized machinery to ensure quick and accurate input of vendor and customer return receipts into stock.
  • Uses RF devices to verify location, product, and quantity.
  • Verifies received items by matching product description, quantity, packaging, and expiration date (if applicable) with documentation or RF device data.
  • Notes discrepancies and marks products for review by the department team lead or supervisor.
  • Breaks down received products into correct selling units and places them in designated stocking locations as noted on the department or RF device.
  • Handles damaged inventory by bringing it to the designated damaged area in Inventory Control and contacting the spill team as needed.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

In addition to the above, all positions are responsible for:

  • Meeting company standards for quantity and quality of work, in compliance with all policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
  • Adhering to workplace behavior policies and completing job duties accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Ability to pass machine driver safety training, proficient reading, writing, math, and computer skills, effective communication, attention to detail, accountability, problem-solving, and ability to follow instructions under stress.

Experience: Basic warehousing knowledge preferred.

Other: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; comparable work experience acceptable.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, carry, or move products up to 50 lbs, walk on concrete floors, grip, push, pull, manipulate tools, twist or bend torso, and climb ladders occasionally.

Conditions:

Work in temperature-controlled environments, with occasional exposure to dust and cold conditions.
