Job Description

Unless specified otherwise, this role is On-Site at the location detailed below.

Material Handlers work in warehouses and production facilities to move products, deliver materials, stage finished goods, and ensure effective communication across the facility to meet supply demands and increase productivity. They also ensure that all production needs are fully stocked for efficient order fulfillment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Work with management to understand daily line demand.
  2. Validate kit contents across factory areas.
  3. Follow proper procedures for procuring missing parts and managing issued parts.
  4. Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams to meet production needs.
  5. Reconcile missing parts and address station occurrences.
  6. Ensure timely delivery of kits to work areas.
  7. Assist in orchestrating material movement and storage.
  8. Verify production needs to minimize downtime.
  9. Deliver kits/parts to correct build stations.
  10. Work with warehouse personnel to address parts shortages.
  11. Manage in-process changes, including removal and replacement of parts.
  12. Record damages, initiate disposition procedures, and replace materials as needed.
  13. Review orders for completeness and forward incomplete ones for processing.
  14. Anticipate production needs at least three days in advance.
  15. Track and record accuracy of critical parts.
  16. Communicate inaccuracies to leadership promptly.
  17. Work overtime including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions: Inside and outside work in all weather, involving moderate to heavy physical labor such as walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting.

Physical Requirements: Able to lift and handle objects up to 100 lbs, work with hands, and stand for extended periods.
