Job summary

Amcor in Alabama is seeking a detail-oriented forklift operator to perform daily inspection and care of equipment and to support inventory controls on the shift. You will load/unload trailers, complete cycle counts, stage finished product, and pull orders with attention to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include communicating priorities to the Front Line Leader, working weekends/overtime as needed, following instructions with minimal supervision, and upholding Amcor's safety and quality

Qualifications

  • Valid Fork-lift permit.
  • Meet physical requirements.
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Good math skills and basic computer skills.
  • Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good communication skills / team oriented.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems.

  • Mounting and dismounting forklift

Starting wage for this position is $20.50 + shift differential
