Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to operate powered industrial trucks and support picking, receiving and putaway activities in our distribution center.

You will use WMS to process orders, verify stock, and ensure accurate shipping and packing. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year warehouse experience, and forklift certification for sit-down, reach truck, and order picker equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping; listening skills.
• Able to understand and speak English.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders and place on pallets.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing/shipping areas.
• Receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Open crates, inspect product, apply labels, verify shading and locations.
• Move product into designated warehouse locations and record locations in inventory system.
• Wrap and pack products for shipping; label boxes.
• Load boxes onto conveyor; verify orders.
• Monitor equipment; follow safety procedures; keep area clean and organized.
