Job description

Material Handler I - (2nd Shift 11:30 am to 8:00 pm)
  • Hourly rate: $18.00 flat rate

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of office product solutions, has an opportunity available for a Material Handler I - 2nd Shift at our Distribution Center in Horn Lake, MS.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and move materials within division, plant, or warehouse.
  2. Load and safely unload freight.
  3. Operate all material handling equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, handheld scanners, and computer terminals.
  4. Perform forklift operations.
  5. Verify incoming material against documents to ensure accuracy.
  6. Maintain inventory records in the computer system.
  7. Assemble, pack, or pick materials, and kit materials.
  8. Perform counts for physical inventory, cycle counts, shipping, or receiving accuracy.
  9. Ensure proper stock rotation.
  10. Operate carts and electric pallet jacks.
  11. Move or remove materials to/from storage areas.
  12. Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety and security procedures.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  2. Experience in material handling.
  3. Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously.
  5. Knowledge of computerized warehouse systems.
  6. Clamp experience is preferred.
  7. Forklift operation experience (3-6 months) preferred.
