Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking an intermediate level Material Handler for Dal-Tile. You will stock, check, wrap, and load/unload materials while supporting inventory and order fulfillment.

The role includes forklift operation, cycle counts, receiving duties, safety compliance, and maintaining a clean, organized facility. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential to succeed in this hands-on warehouse position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker experience; pallet jack experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey orders to packing/shipping area.
• Performs warehouse duties: pull/assemble orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, stock counts, restock and label vendor products.
• Receives and unloads inbound material, processes inbound shipments, stocks material, handles returns and notifies management of damaged shipments.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean, organized facility through sweeping, trash removal, and general maintenance.
• Maintains a safe working environment by following Safety Program rules and reporting accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler we need someone that is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials.

Pay Rate:

• Entry Rate: $18.54

• 3-month Progression Increase: $19.66

Shift:1st Shift

• Monday - Friday.

• 8:00AM-4:30PM

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

Major Function and Scope:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

• Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

• Operates forklift equipment.

• Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.

• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.

• Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.

• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
