Responsibilities
  1. Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
  2. Operate a forklift or other equipment to transport materials within the facility.
  3. Develop a good knowledge of the company and may be assigned to projects for career development.
  4. Learn the principles, practices, and processes in the function or discipline.
  5. Develop the business knowledge required for the full job.
  6. Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.
  7. Follow defined procedures and practices.
  8. Perform forklift daily inspections.
  9. Accept responsibility for own actions, follow through on commitments.
  10. Participate in team meetings and exchange job-related information.
  11. Demonstrate attention to detail, attendance, and quality.
  12. Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job functions.
  13. Practice safe working habits, following safety guidelines to support company initiatives.
  14. Know the basic functions of the ERP system.
  15. Assist in training new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.
  16. Actively participate with the Drive to Zero program.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
