Receives, stores, and distributes products, materials, and equipment within establishments by performing the following duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to safely operate motorized standup forklift, electric and manual pallet jacks. Knowledge of basic warehousing systems, safety regulations, proper storing methods, record-keeping techniques.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effective in presenting information to individuals and small groups.
Basic arithmetic, rate, ratio, percent calculations, and interpreting bar graphs.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, wet conditions, high places, weather, and vibration. Moderate noise level.
Requires standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, frequent lifting up to 60 lbs, and occasional lifting over 100 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
Valid California Driver's License, clean record. Fluency in English (verbal and written).
