REV Ambulance Group Orlando Inc. is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to support parts distribution across the plant. You will move parts, WIP, and mail between departments, and operate pallet jacks, tuggers, and forklifts while maintaining inventory accuracy.

You will handle data entry, scans, and schedule reviews, train new staff, read English instructions, and follow safety rules in a fast-paced environment with occasional overtime.

Qualificações

  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
  • Ability to read English and Metric tape measures and use measuring devices.
  • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable inventory accuracy, quality and time standards.
  • Ability to recognize quality expected and be able to reproduce it.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.

Responsabilidades

Primary Functions:

Under general supervision, distributes either production or non - production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, WIP, Return-to-stock or DMR parts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains Inventory Accuracy
  • Moves parts, WIP or finished product and delivers mail packages to various department locations and/or warehouse locations.
  • Operates various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling carts, tuggers, golf cars or forklifts
  • Maintains the required paperwork and documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
  • Ensures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.
  • Ensure all material and inventory remains properly identified and stored free from damage or deterioration.
  • Assists with the training and instruction of new employees who may be assigned to this area.
  • Proficient in computer use for data entry, part scanning or transacting, printing of picklist and schedule review.
  • Understand and carry out oral and written directions in English.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.
  • Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled per assigned department.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those in contact on a day-to-day basis.
  • Meet minimum standards of safety per assigned department.
  • Meet minimum standards of housekeeping per assigned department.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Qualifications:

Experience:
  • Three (3) years experience in warehouse environment.
  • Must have 2 years computer experience with Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • 3 years Forklift experience preferred.

  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40#'s without assistance.
  • Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling or bending positions.
  • Ability to work with arms above head.
  • Ability to work from ladders or scaffolding.
  • Ability to stand at a workstation for eight hours a day (minus specified breaks.)
  • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
  • Ability to safely use specified hand, air, power tools, and machinery.
  • Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • Hand-Eye coordination.
  • Required to handle and dispose of hazardous waste.
  • Ability to work in 105-degree heat for excess of eight (8) hours per day.
  • Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Understanding and carrying out required oral and written directions.
Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.

The noise level in the work environment is elevated.

  • Safety glasses if walking in plant vicinity.
  • Earplugs if walking in plant vicinity.
  • Work Gloves
  • Protective disposable suite when necessary
  • Respirator when required for hazardous materials
  • Steel toe shoes

Overtime may be required based on business needs. This position may require mandatory overtime up to three (3) out of four (4) Fridays per month.
