Novolex is seeking a Material Handler to support blown film production at our Villa Rica, GA facility. The role focuses on safe handling, accurate material flow, and efficient warehouse operations.

Night shift 7:50pm–8:00am, 2-2-3 schedule, with $18.00 per hour, paid weekly. Candidates should have forklift certification, experience with materials, and strong organizational skills. Join a team committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Material Handler preferred in manufacturing or similar.
• Forklift certified and experienced with material handling equipment.
• Understanding of blown film production processes and materials (resins, additives, colorants).
• Ability to stand, lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

Job Overview:

The Material Handleris responsible forthe efficient flow of materials and suppliesrequiredfor blown film production. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle delicate materials, and a commitment tomaintaininga safe and clean work environment.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently loading and unloading raw materials, such as plastic resins, additives, and colorants, intoappropriate storageareas or production equipment

• Inspecting incoming materials for quality, verifying quantities, and reporting any discrepancies or damage

• Storing raw materials, supplies, and finishedproductsin designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and efficient use of space

• Retrieving and delivering materials, supplies, and finishedproductsto theappropriate productionareas or workstationsin a timely manner

• Assistingin the setup and preparation of materials and supplies for blown film production, following production orders or instructions

• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages or excesses to theappropriate personnel.

• Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely andin accordance withcompany policies and procedures

• Maintain inventory of gaylord boxes and dumps in box filter

• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations andmaintaininga clean and organized work area.

• Assistingin the maintenance and cleanliness of material handling equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damage to supervisors

• Collaborating effectively with supervisors, machine operators, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient material flow and resolve any material-related issues or concerns.

• Keep the work area clean and organized, including proper disposal of packaging materials

• Other essential duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience as a Material Handler, preferably inmanufacturingor a similar environment, is preferred

• Forklift certifiedand experienceoperatingother material handlingequipment

• Understanding of blown film production processes and the materials involved, including plastic resins, additives, and colorants

• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks

• Attention to detail and the ability to accurately count, measure, and inspect materials and supplies

• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

• Basic computer literacy for data entry, reporting, and inventory management
