Job summary

ESAero is seeking a dependable Material Handler I to support production by managing inventory, moving materials, and maintaining accurate records. This role ensures smooth operations and on-time delivery in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will work on-site at ESAero in San Luis Obispo, CA, coordinating with Planning to release and complete work orders, handling material movement, and maintaining stock accuracy while promoting safety and ethics in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• APICS training and/or certification desirable.
• ESD education stated; BA/BS degree preferred.
• Knowledge of operations, project/program management and procurement is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills work orders from inventory and delivers materials to production.
• Maintains stock and inventories; records locations and shortages.
• Operates material movement and packaging for shipping.
• Supports WIP replenishment and final distribution.
• Assists in cycle counting and AS9100 QMS processes.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler I to support production by managing inventory, moving materials, andmaintainingaccuraterecords. The Material Handler Iensures smooth operations and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ifyou'reready to contribute to efficient operations and meet high-quality standards, consider becoming our next Material Handler I.

RequiredDuties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by fulfilling workorders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.

• Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area and bins.

• Maintains inventory byidentifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.

• Executes physical material movement supporting system adjustments and transfers.

• Performs material movement asrequiredthrough non-conformance disposition.

• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.

• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies.

• Locates and packs materials for shipping.

• Will work with Planning to ensure that work orders are released, built, and completed as committed.

• Will handle the movement and documentation of materials rejected in W.I.P. and their replacement.

• Willassistin the issuing of labor/material to and closing of Work Orders.

• Identifyand deal with obsolete material as it occurs.

• Assistin Cycle Counting.

• Assistto maintain AS9100 QMS systems and process.

• Aid in the entry of data and documentation to MRP system.

• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.

• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.

• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

• Responsible for actively promoting an ethics-based business culture in the project management organization, ensuring that all are aware of, and fullycomply with,ESAero'spolicies.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A High School diploma or equivalent isrequired.

• APICS training and/or certificationaredesirable.

• Educated in ESD.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• BA/BS degree desired.

• Knowledge of operations, program management, project management, product development, and procurement desired. Demonstrated ability to make decisions and formulate and execute alternative plans when the need arises.

• Ability to work well with others toaccomplishtasks in support of the production plan and meet shipping deadlines.

• Must be proficient in Excel and have some familiarity with SharePoint and ERP systems.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing organization as a planner/expeditoror material control specialist.

• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing is preferred.
