DITEK is seeking a Material Handler Level I in Largo, FL to support production by counting inventory, pulling kits, and preparing components for assembly. The role requires precise data collection and RF gun usage to ensure accurate shipments.

You will handle material movement between work centers, adhere to ESD and safety standards, and maintain thorough documentation. A high school diploma or GED and a Florida driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counting and inventory tasks.
  • Pull kits and orders to meet production and shipping schedules.
  • Use RF gun to pick kits and shipping orders; audit kits for accuracy.
  • Prep components as per assembly docs; print labels as needed.
  • Move material between work centers ensuring ESD compliance and safety.
  • Keep accurate documentation for traceability and packing for safe transit.

DESCRIPTIONThe Material Handler Level I is responsible for performing proper and accurate receiving, stocking, kitting, and handling, moving, prepping, packing, cycle counting, shipping and efficient in SAP software and RF guns of material utilized in the manufacturing of assemblies. If you can keep the gears turning and become the heartbeat of our warehouse, apply today!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESCycle counting and inventory, as required.Pulling kits in a timely manner to meet production schedule while ensuring accurate data collection for labor calculations and traceability.Pulling orders in a timely manner to meet shipping requirements while ensuring accuracy to maintain customer satisfaction.Understanding and using an RF gun to pick kits and shipping orders.Kit auditing to ensure proper material and required quantity is issued.Prepping components per documentation as required by assembly instructions / prep code.Print labels and install instructions by kit requirements, as needed.Accurate and timely movement of material between work centers while adhering to all ESD and safety requirements (e.g. moving sub-assemblies between SMT board wash and 2nd operation, moving product from prep to manufacturing, moving product from pack-out to finished goods).Fill shortages in a timely manner ensuring proper documentation for traceability.Responsive to production material needs.Adhere to all applicable ESD requirements.Maintain all documentation properly and completely.Proper packing of product to ensure safe transit to customer.This list is not intended to be all-inclusive and you may not be responsible for every item listed. The employer reserves the right to assign additional functions and responsibilities as necessary.QUALIFICATIONSOne (1) to three (3) years in the Electronics assembly industry with knowledge of general ESD practices and component/assembly descriptions and their proper handling.High school diploma or GED required.Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAttention to detail with minimal supervision.Knowledgeable in the location and content of all departmental procedures and work instructions.Must be good with counting components and Manufacturing related materials.Committed to Quality, Safety and Communication.Must be able to differentiate colors.Demonstrate good hand to eye coordination.Maintain a safe and clean work space.Follow established safety rules and regulations.Polite and professional communication with other departments, outside suppliers, customers and transit companies (e.g. customer pick-ups, delivery drivers, etc.).Ability to perform all functions of the job classification without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.PHYSICAL ABILITIESThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
