Job summary

DITEK CORPORATION in Largo, FL is seeking a dedicated Facility Support teammate to perform a broad range of cleaning and maintenance duties. The role focuses on keeping the building tidy, safe, and well-supplied, both inside and outside.

You will work day shift, handle equipment, restock supplies, report issues, and support other departments to ensure a high standard of guest experience. This position offers competitive benefits and requires a valid Florida driver’s license or reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant cleaning/maintenance experience.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license or have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic cleaning in and around the building.
• Properly sanitizes areas.
• Cleans floors and rooms, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning glass and windows.
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, and sanitizing fixtures.
• Cleans and maintains the breakroom and refrigerator, restocks utensils.
• Empties trash and replaces liners throughout the building.
• Stocks and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitors sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
• Mops, cleans, waxes, and maintains all floors.
• Assists other departments to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Reports facility malfunctions or safety issues.

Job DetailsJob Location: MAIN OFFICE - LARGO, FL 33771. Position Type: Full Time. Travel Percentage: None. Job Shift: Day.

Facility Support works to create a clean, orderly and safe working environment by performing a wide variety of cleaning and maintenance activities inside and outside the building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs basic cleaning in and around the building.
• Properly sanitizes areas.
• Cleans floors and rooms, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, picking up larger objects off the floor, and cleaning glass and windows.
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
• Cleans and maintain the breakroom.
• Cleans the refrigerator and restocks all utensils.
• Empties trash and replaces liners throughout the building.
• Stocks and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
• Mops, cleans, waxes, and maintains all floors.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Reports any facility malfunctions or issues.
• Follows all health and safety regulations.
• Performs additional duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant cleaning/maintenance experience.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license or have reliable transportation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery including floor scrubber and buffer.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform all functions of the job classification without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Sit up to 2 hours per day.
• Stand up to 8 hours per day.
• Walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understand & practice proper lifting techniques.
• Understand & use of equipment available to assist with heavy lifting.
• Frequently bend, squat, climb, reach, kneel, and/or twist.
