Job summary

ESPEC North America, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Michigan to support the Materials Department. The role involves pulling parts, stocking inventory, and delivering parts to production while maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.

The position requires use of a tablet for order picking, proficiency with Word/Excel, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The schedule is 6am–4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use a tablet for order selecting.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel/ERP.
• Experience operating a forklift or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Uses hand tools.
• Performs cycle counting of stockroom items.
• Kits; pulls parts, prints paperwork, delivers to departments.
• Receives; stocks incoming parts, maintains locations in computer, delivers parts to production from shortage list or production stock.
• Restocks shelves using first in first out.
• Organizes shelves; part numbers visible, pulls consumables for production, orders for stock.
• May operate forklift.
• Cleans work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hours:

6am - 4:30pm Mon- Thurs, if needed OT on Fridays.

$20.42/hr - $21.91/hr

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).


• Ability to use a tablet for order selecting.


• Proficiency with Word/Excel/ERP.


• Experience operating a forklift truck or desire to learn.


• Previous related experience desired, but not required.


• Ability to lift 50 lbs.


• Ability to walk up and down stairs and use ladders at elevated height.
