Key Responsibilities
  1. Locate, audit, and transfer kits or materials as required. Perform satellite receiving functions. Handle materials pickup or drop-off at vendor sites, requiring use of a van or truck. Conduct cycle counts to verify and maintain inventory.
  2. Prevent excess material accumulation under management direction. Move stock as needed. Replenish empty line-side bins in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Receive parts and update inventory records or shortage reports; perform transactions in Oracle or other inventory systems. Verify vendor deliveries before accepting parts/inventory. Monitor and update shortage reports and work orders.
  4. Purge excess and obsolete stock under supervisor’s guidance. Rework, transfer, or scrap items as necessary.
  5. Operate powered industrial vehicles, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and possibly drive a van or truck, or operate overhead cranes.
  6. Prepare materials for delivery to the cleanroom environment.
  7. Follow all safety standards and protocols, adhering to documented business processes.
  8. In a spares environment, focus on inventory management activities and perform transactions in SAP.
Other Requirements

This physically demanding role involves standing, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting, distinguishing colors, working in noisy environments, using hand/power tools, and operating heavy machinery like forklifts. Working in a cleanroom may require PPE such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, and chemical aprons.
