Job description

Overview

You will be driving a YALE STAND UP REACH FORKLIFT ($21 an hour). Search Images

You will also be driving a Trailer Switcher ($24 an hour) (Yard dog). Search Images

Yale Stand Up Reach

This position involves moving orange racks to and from the loading dock, counting and verifying SKUs and tire quantities, and removing poles from racks. The environment is fast-paced with pedestrians, so safe driving and lift skills are essential. As part of a small team, when others call out, you'll be assigned additional tasks to meet daily goals.

Trailer Switcher

This role entails moving trailers into and out of loading doors, usually taking 1-2 hours per shift, with limited door usage.

Requirements

To be considered, you must pass an in-person driving test assessing safety awareness, lift proficiency, and efficiency.

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• Day shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience

• At least one year of experience with switchers; tested prior to offer
• At least one year of experience with high reach trucks; tested prior to offer

Position Requirements

• Ability to control yard trucks and trailers to prevent damage
• Audit UPC and barcode accuracy on outbound loads using RF scanners
• Pull poles from pallets
• Coordinate trailer movements in the yard (1-2 hours daily)
• Use provided equipment (stand-up reach truck, RF scanner) effectively

• Reliable attendance
• Punctuality
• Steel toe shoes must be provided and worn at all times
