Job summary

Performance Fab, a Structural Steel & Custom Fabrication Shop and sister company of Fox Cities Builders, is hiring Material Handlers to support production teams and maintain a safe, efficient work environment. The role involves receiving, moving, labeling, and distributing materials to align with production schedules.

Ideal candidates are organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, year-round environment, with forklift experience preferred or willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and time-management are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and stay safety-focused.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities and a team-first mindset.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors year-round, with minimal supervision.
• Forklift experience is preferred or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials and deliveries.
• Move materials throughout the shop, paint booth, wash bay, and yard.
• Stage, label, and distribute materials to support production schedules.
• Track inventory and identify shortages, damage, or discrepancies.
• Respond to material requests to keep shop operations productive and efficient.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas inside the shop and yard.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and material tracking.
• Identify and correct potential safety hazards.
• Secure materials, equipment, and facilities at end of shift.
• Assist with general facility upkeep, including snow removal during winter months
