Job summary

Allegion plc is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Indianapolis, IN to support production by receiving, staging, issuing, and delivering materials. You will operate pallet jacks, load/unload shipments, and ensure inventory accuracy through ERP/MRP systems.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer literacy, and a flexible approach to adapt to new processes. Candidates must be able to lift and move materials and work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with material handling and material movement.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Ability to use proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Adaptability to changing processes and production needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials to support production schedules.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems or scanning devices.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and maintain records.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and properly store tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control to resolve issues.
