Summary

The mission of the Grinder is to maintain a constant flow of virgin and regrind material to and from EBM and SBM machines, maintain Grinding of scrap materials throughout the shift, monitor and maintain scrap levels and inventory, and maintain / PM Grinders, Blenders, Silo’s and all related equipment. Cleanliness and order are important to this position as well as being able to remain flexible to the needs of the shift.

Pay: $23.00/hr-$25.00/hr

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain an understanding of the different material types and color concentrates need for the various product lines.
• Understand and use our LOTO system.
• Aid in keeping accurate inventory by using our proprietary JDE Scanners.
• Adhere to our ISO/Quality standards by completing assigned paperwork 100% of the time.
• Cleaning machines and grinders in the event of a color change, material changes or contamination.
• Ability to safely un-jam grinders when needed.
• Flexible to help out line workers and others when time permits.
• Attention to detail and commitment to housekeeping.
• Application of basic mechanical tools.
• Properly maintain and PM Material Handling Equipment.
• Maintain and Grind as needed the scrap material and recycle area.
• Maintain Daily Grinding duties for Production

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to maintain a steady pace, and be self-motivated.
• Able to lift 35 pounds on a regular basis.
• Fork Lift Certified
• LOTO Certified
