Job summary

Valeo North America is seeking a Material Handler in Reno, NV to support site supply chain and production. You will load, move, and store materials, ensuring timely shipment to customers while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, staging materials, and data entry on SAP. The role requires the flexibility to work overtime and lift 20–50 lbs regularly, with a focus on efficient, safe workflows in a busy automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand general work instructions.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrates reliability, initiative, and safety focus.
• Capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive duties.
• Ability to lift 20–50 lbs daily.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• 2 years shipping and receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate in full compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Obtain Valeo certification to safely operate Valeo powered industrial equipment.
• Support production schedules and pre-stage supplies to service operators, machines, and processing positions to maintain continuous process flow.
• Move, store, and issue raw, in‑process, and finished materials to and from production areas using manual handling or equipment.
• Input and retrieve data on a data terminal, manage labels, shipper assignments, and JIT calls as required.
• Assist with SAP system and other material handling duties as instructed.
