Acara Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to work with an electronics manufacturing organization located in Hillsboro, OR.

What you will receive:

Pay Rate: $23-25/hr + 10% shift differential

Shift: Front half nights: Sun - Tues and every other Saturday

Hours: 6:45pm - 7:00am

Contract: Temp to perm based role with conversion after 12 months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Material Handler is to maintain and control our inventory at the customer facility covering basic logistics activities. These covers receiving materials arriving at the customer, facilitating material usage onsite, shipping materials offsite, and all activities in between. This role will require being in the customer cleanroom for the majority of the time. May require domestic travel.

• Ensure the timely arrival of materials in the Work center (40% of the activities are physical movements)
• Monitor material availability on the basis of the progress of one or more work centers within the factory.
• Process and solve disturbances as first-line support.
• Process administration of transactions, book materials to and from orders as well as to and from (storage) locations. Report deviations and take corrective and preventive actions.

• Basic MS office skills (experience with Outlook and Excel is required)
• Attention to detail
• 2+ years in a logistics or operations role preferred but not required.
