Job description

Here’s the Gist:

As a Manufacturing Material Handler, you will be responsible for clean room wafer logistics which includes preparing bare semiconductor wafers to be manufactured and completed wafers to be shipped . You will accomplish many logistic tasks by utilizing equipment in a clean room interacting with a computer-based manufacturing execution system . You will work a 12-hour day shift with a "3on-4off-4on-3off" alternating schedule . Manufacturing Material Handlers working 12-hour shifts are eligible to receive a shift differential of up to 15%, as well as overtime and bonus eligibility .

The Day-to-Day:

  • Semiconductor wafer unpacking, and preparation, to enable the wafers to be used, or reused, in the manufacturing processes.
  • Preparing finished semiconductor wafers for shipping.
  • Cleaning empty wafer containers for reuse in the clean room .

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • Ability to stand for 6 hours at a time, wear full clean room attire, and lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis .
  • Basic computer and math skills .
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, and able to follow written procedures .

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range:

$16.00 - $19.20
