Job summary

Powell is seeking a Material Handler at our Southeast Houston manufacturing facility. You will support inventory control, stocking and record-keeping of materials, using scanners and computer systems to ensure accuracy and timely material flow.

The role requires lifting up to 50lbs, walking/standing for long periods, and strong English communication with team members. A forklift may be used to move materials as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock and record-keep materials using a scanner or designated computer program.
• Maintain and organize materials in yard and designated racks.
• Move materials using forklift as needed to support production.
• Assist in inventory control and material replenishment across designated shop area.
• Communicate material needs with staff and management.
