Job summary

North American Stamping Group in Portland, TN is seeking an experienced Material Handler to ensure safe and efficient movement of product and dunnage. You will work in weld, press, and warehouse areas, supporting changeovers and inventory control with an eye toward continuous improvement.

The role requires forklift experience, basic math, and solid communication. A valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and NASG forklift certification are essential. Competitive hourly pay plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification required for NASG.
• Basic math and compter skills to track material.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated forklift experience in manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move material between storage, warehousing and production areas.
• Unload inbound trailers and stage dunnage appropriately.
• Ensure parts are moved and scanned to correct locations.
• Assist with changeovers and staging of dies as needed.
• Maintain 5S standards and participate in continuous improvement.
• Support inventory counts and safety/compliance procedures.
