Job summary

Beckett Thermal Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented forklift operator in Ohio to safely move materials to production areas and maintain inventory accuracy. You will follow daily forklift checks, label verification, and rotate stock by pulling oldest products first.

You'll contribute to 5S housekeeping, maximize space, and report safety or inventory issues promptly while engaging in electronic inventory transactions. This role is an on-site position with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift trucks.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Comfort with repetitive manual tasks and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely move materials to production areas on time to avoid downtime.
• Safely operate forklift trucks and report accidents and unsafe areas immediately.
• Follow procedures for daily forklift checks and report any safety failures promptly.
• Ensure containers are labeled properly with correct part numbers and quantities.
• Maintain and consolidate racks and inventory to maximize space.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in assigned areas and report inaccuracies promptly.
• Pull oldest products and partial containers first to rotate inventory.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards for production and common areas.
• Identify ways to maximize space on the production floor and storage areas.
• Identify ways to deliver materials to production floor work areas more efficiently.
• Become proficient at electronic transactions of inventory movement.
