Job summary

Warehouse Services, Inc. in Piedmont, SC is seeking Weekend Shift Material Handlers/Forklift Operators for its distribution center. The roles are full-time on-site with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a 3-day weekend schedule.

Under supervision, you will receive, inspect, store and ship material, operate equipment, perform inspections, inventories and ensure safety. Must lift 55–70 lbs and be able to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to understand, read and write basic English.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to lift 70 lbs regularly.

Full Time Position- WORK 3 DAYS A WEEK!!

WSI is currently seeking Weekend Shift Material Handlers/Forklift Operators for its distribution center. These positions offer a $1,500.00 sign on bonus!

Under general supervision, the Material Handler/Forklift Operator performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, to receive, inspect, store and ship material but not limited to receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, records, and reports. Receives general direction on new assignment aspects and instructions as to how to perform required tasks and results expected.

Essential Functions

• Operates material handling equipment to receive, store, and ship material.
• Performs receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
• Performs physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs. on a consistent and regular basis.
• Must be able to work overtime, and on scheduled days off, with little or no advance notice.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to read and understand the English alphabet.
• Must be able to coordinate a series of activities simultaneously.
